A 3-hour drive from Bourton on the Water, we called and told the lady that we would be there at 7 p.m. There was a slight delay due to rush hour. When we saw that we wouldn't make it to 7:00 PM exactly at 6:55 PM, we called for the record, but no one answered. When we arrived at 7:06 PM the gate was closed! A man called us: You should be there at 1900! and he quickly cycled away again. There we were… Unbelievable…

Very quiet, simple and not too expensive campsite 26 £ for 2 adults and 2 dogs. Beautifully laid out along former excavation ponds. simple but adequate toilets etc. walking distance to the center of Bourton ot Water and beautiful surroundings. Nice (dog walking) round on the grounds.
