A lovely campsite with a large playground, bouncy castle, clean swimming pool, and mini golf. Ideal for a stay with children. You have direct access to the forest from the campsite. Depending on your pitch, you might need a long power cord. There's a snack bar/cafe, and you can order sandwiches daily. Sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. The campsite is pricey, but otherwise, we don't really understand the negative reviews.

A well-maintained campsite with spacious camper pitches (we were in the circle). Free swimming is available in the recreation area just outside the campsite. A pleasant walk along the water/harbor to the town center (2.5 km). As mentioned, the sanitary facilities are a bit lacking (tip: there are also two toilets at the communal kitchen, and they are almost always free). Definitely recommended as a base for exploring Aalborg.

A lovely campsite with a friendly owner, spacious pitches, and very clean sanitary facilities (both individual showers and family bathrooms). A nice playground for the kids and a direct path to the beach/cliff-top walkway to the lighthouse. As mentioned in previous reviews, there's no shop nearby, so you'll need to be prepared, but this campsite is definitely recommended!

A quiet campsite with beautiful pitches and very clean sanitary facilities! A very friendly welcome and service. There's a supermarket right next to the campsite, and the harbor is a 5-minute walk away. Bork Vikinghavn is a 25-minute walk away and is definitely worth a visit.

A well-maintained campsite with a nice playground and a dog-friendly area. However, we found €46 per night, excluding electricity, showers, and Wi-Fi (all paid separately), quite expensive for two adults, one toddler, and a dog on a standard pitch. The owners speak Dutch, but when they're not around, only German is spoken (they don't know English). The campsite caters primarily to Dutch visitors.

Sanitary facilities insufficient for the many guests. Cleanliness of sanitary facilities leaves much to be desired and showering with a child is impossible (block north). No water on the site so sanitary facilities mh are only possible to a limited extent. Marginality is the order of the day here (many guests are exactly like the Flodder family without rules/manners)! Neighbors even just pee along the roads. The only positive thing is that the tourist sites are spacious and in the shade and there is a lot to do for kids.

What a wonderful campsite for people with young(er) children. Very spacious separated pitches, beautiful swimming pool with some sun loungers, playground and many animals (horses, a meadow with alpacas and goats, free-roaming chickens and peacocks and an aviary with ornamental birds). Sanitary facilities very neat (just like the places). The center with shops is 4.5 km away, so it is best to have a bicycle with you or make sure you have enough food and drinks. Recommended!

Spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities and a friendly welcome. We received an email 3 days before departure stating that it was swampy and they gave us the choice of whether or not to use our reservation. Some mud is visible upon arrival, but swampy is something else. Near the Biesbosch center. Ideal base for short walks or longer bike rides

Nice spacious place by the pond. Sanitary facilities are in good order and very clean (rarely have such clean sanitary facilities at a campsite). Ideal base for going for a walk with the dog. Probably very busy in the summer, but ideal in the winter. Just a shame about the grumpy manageress (fortunately the holiday worker at the reception and the male manager/caretaker made up for a lot) and the lack of control over noisy campers

Friendly welcome and nice spacious place for our camper. Nice playground for the kids and beautiful fishing pond. Clean sanitary facilities, although the showers are on the small side. Ideally located for walking or cycling from the campsite in the nature reserve and also a nice large off-leash zone for the dog just a 10-minute walk away. The campsite is fully booked, but that doesn't bother us. Many campsites can take an example of this!

We left after an hour as this is apparently a popular place for Germans to have parties with their campers

Beautiful campsite but very expensive. 38 euros for a night with camper, 2 adults and dog and then you have to pay your electricity separately (0.70 € / kWh) and the showers are also paying (0.60 € / 3 min). Ideal for spending a holiday with children at the lake and for walking in the woods, but far from civilization. There is a small shop with basic products on the campsite.

Nice quiet campsite. Arrived without a reservation and got a nice place at the forest with the rippling river. Chill zones in the forest and possibility to book sauna. Clean sanitary facilities (toilet could be locked) and a very friendly welcome. Arrived with the aim of staying 2 nights, but it will probably be more 😀

Arrived without reservation. The owner does his utmost to help the guests, in English. Got a beautiful place. Toilets are clean. We did not use showers. Difficult to take water with a large mobile home and we have not found a discharge point. Not much to do in the area if you don't have a car. Ideal to rest for a few days.

What a topper this campsite is! Very friendly welcome, both camping and sanitary very clean and above all: what a peace and beautiful location. Ideal for walking or cycling and within walking distance of the center with a supermarket and cozy terraces. We will definitely come back!

Great base for visiting Ypres. Paid 9 euros per night, incl. electricity. Some noise from the train (fortunately no longer runs after 11 pm) and especially from the passing cars and scooters towards the pond (fishermen). But that's the difference between motorhome and camping 😀

Spacious places and beautiful location but 0 service. Have been here for 3 days and have to constantly shower in mh because the water in the showers in the sanitary block is ice cold. WiFi is off (network is not even found). We opted for camping so that we could wash our 3 month old baby in the sanitary block. It is better to stand at the quick stop next to the campsite. Grab cheaper for the same!

Good location for visiting the city and that's where it ends. Unfriendly reception, dirty sanitary facilities and from 5 a.m. you are awake by the busy traffic. Good for 1 or 2 nights

Very large campsite. Fortunately, it is now low season because I can imagine that it is extremely busy here in the summer, given the many facilities and beautiful location. The sanitary facilities are disgustingly dirty these days (no cleaning staff in the low season?). Fortunately we have a shower and toilet in the camper!

Overnight stays are no longer allowed here 😔

Top place. Spacious camper pitches, clean sanitary facilities and a very friendly helpful owner! And that for 30 euros per night in high season (2 adults with dog, including electricity)

Slept here yesterday. You are parked with your mobile home in a cage where anyone can just walk past. We did not use sanitary facilities because of terrible dirt. Very noisy till hole in the night. If you say something about it at the reception, the answer is: we know that the sanitary is a mess and that there are some noisy guests who are not longer welcome here... and then you get the bill: 59 euros for 1 night. Just stay away!
