This place is a gem. A beautiful spot by the water. Two supermarkets within 50 meters, and a very nice coffee shop/gift shop. You can dump your car/toilet at the gas station. Perfectly organized. It just felt awful to be here for free. It was mentioned in previous reviews, but show your gratitude for this wonderful place by spending money in the village itself. Thanks for everything, Hornindal! We felt very welcome.

Great place for a weekend getaway. A good base for Stavoren, Hindeloopen, and Workum.

What more can be said that hasn't been said in the many previous reviews? But it's all true. A beautiful place, where everything is perfectly organized and where it's wonderfully quiet at night. With lovely cycling routes to Sneek and Joure, but also the unexpectedly charming town of Langweer very close by – by ferry! Ben and Greta are very helpful and incredibly friendly. Greta's bag studio is the chef's kiss 😍 It's impossible for me to leave empty-handed.

This overnight stay was offered to us by Seminautic and we were not disappointed! Large campsite with everything in a beautiful area. We were assigned a beautiful and spacious spot. Very friendly ladies at the reception. In short: nothing wrong with it!

Super fun campsite with friendly owners. Beautiful and spacious pitches, not static in rows, but nicely playfully distributed over the terrain. Franeker and Harlingen within cycling distance, but the entire area is beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves so much here that we stayed at this campsite two weekends in a row. Very worthwhile!

Brand new campsite - opened three weeks ago - with incredibly friendly owners who are looking forward to it. Spacious pitches with a beautiful view. The sanitary facilities are not only spotless but also beautiful to look at: hotel-chic with an eye for detail. You can clearly see that the owners are also campers: they know what a camper likes and have also designed the campsite accordingly. We will definitely come back. Good luck, Elke and Dennis!

Great place to spend a weekend. You can pitch at the lake (note: not everywhere electricity, for those who like to pitch with electricity) but the pitches next to the restaurant - where you can eat delicious food - are also great! All facilities are available, but 1 shower + toilet for ladies and 1 shower + toilet for men is actually too little, especially if there are multiple campers, but for us that was no problem. Shops within walking distance.

We ended up here for the very first night with our camper. This turned out to be a more than good choice. Spacious places, good facilities and friendly, hospitable owners. We had a delicious meal in the attached café. If we didn't have other appointments today, we would have happily stayed longer. Worth repeating!
