Probably the best campsite I have been to. The owner is very creative and obviously put a lot of hard work in to the site It is simply beautiful. Only one small point - grey waste can only be emptied via container.

I parked here last night. 2 restaurants within short walking distance, I chose the Highland Gate just across the roundabout and was really impressed. Park and ride bus runs every 30 minutes and cost me £1.20 for a return up to the castle. No facilities here but plenty level parking spaces and feels secure enough. I would easily use it again.

2 metre hight barrier has been put up at entrance. I moved along the beach a bit behind the promenade pavilion.

Worth staying here just to view the smallest washing machine EVER! :)

Seems you need to fill up with a minimum €50 of fuel before you get to use the services. Black waste in to the toilet, a drain to lift for grey waste and a tap available to fill up water.

Not a review as such because it was closed when I arrived so I parked outside for the night. It said on CC that the site was open on Christmas day so I arrived about 3pm to see the gates closed and no one around apart from the biggest dog I have ever seen (see the photos). I would have found somewhere else but was low on fuel and petrol stations were closed. Looks nice and clean and there are some pod type apartments here as well. Very close to main road but not too noisy. Looks to be a few walks or cycle paths close by.
