immaculate, small campsite on a quiet road opposite the beach. short walk into town either via the beach or walk/cycle path. The site is beautifully maintained by the owners, large pitches, clean facilities with soap and paper. small bar and fresh vegetables on site. €34 inclusive of tax for 2 adults, 1 dog, 1 Campervan in May 2025
Sitecode: 100127
WOW- what a little gem. located at the end of an easily accessible gravel track on the owners land, this site is immaculate. Each of the 20 pitches has its own water supply and chemical toilet disposal point as well as an enclosed sink, electricity supply and a gas stove if required. There are toilets and showers on site too as well as a washing machine. 1 van, 2 adults, small dog and electric was €23 per night on 18th May 2025.
Sitecode: 102076
Nothing has changed since the previous reviews. Very large flat gravelled surface inside the tarmac roller circuit (which you must not park on. Free and good for a night stopover. Centre is about a 15 min walk
Sitecode: 103694
Agree with everything said before. It looks fine to park here for 24hrs. Several other mohos here at the same time
Sitecode: 1022
Stayed for 1 night 22/5/24. Thank you BIEPP. It was your review that brought us here. Lovely rustic site and the bbq lambs in the barn was gorgeous. It is a little gem of a site to find
Sitecode: 18935
Stayed 17/10/23. Giving it 5 stars to compensate for the person who only gave it 1 star. it is a perfectly nice pitch for 7€ (out of season). Everything works and it is close to the town, which has a number of bars and restaurants. The WW2 military museum is well worth a visit. They have so much to show. The Little Bar on the Main Street is well priced and lets dogs in. Also close to a lovely walk/cycle path along the river. Will visit again
Sitecode: 81121
Stayed 16/10/23, 1 night. Great CP with about 20 pitches, all tarmac. Grey and black waste work ok, but apparently fresh water unit is broken. About 10 mins walk into the nice little town with several bars and restaurants, although a lot are shut on Mondays
Sitecode: 104027
Did not stay here as we moved north to Conty. The pitches looked nice. We did not enter the site, but were able to fill with water for free using a watering can and carried it to our van outside. So many Aires (even paid ones) have the water turned off this time of year, so it was getting difficult to find. Thank you for the water Gisors
Sitecode: 1320
Stayed 1 night 6/12/22. A bit muddy on grass pitches. Plenty of them and free, so no complaints. Didn’t use the services. The village is very quiet in December, but you would expect this. Good for a stopover while moving north. I expect it is lovely here in the summer
Sitecode: 86894
Stayed 1 night 5/12/22. Now cost 13.06€ a night. This would not be so bad, but all services turned off. No fresh water and no chemical dump water. Very bad for this much money. Also the pitches are on muddy grass. Good position to visit Amboise. I expect in the summer this is a good stopover, but in winter a big thumbs down
Sitecode: 29867
Stayed 04/12/22 1 night. Level parking on tarmac for 3 mohos. Didn’t use the paid for services. We approached the village from the south. There was a route barré on the main road and we had to detour through the old village. Very tight with a 7m Moho. Would be easier to approach from junction directly east. Bice stop quaint medieval village
Sitecode: 101129
stayed 1 night 27/11/22. Thank you Toro for your free aire with all free facilities. There are 4 large marked spaces for mohos at the end of the smaller parking spaces. The approach road is a bit tight but no problem for our 7m PVC. There is a beautiful view across the wide open plains and Toro is a nice town. It was very quiet in November but not surprising as it was only 10 degrees. Will definitely use this site again
Sitecode: 6380
Stayed 1 night 27/11/22 while heading north. All the facilities for free. Used the fresh water tap by the coach park to fill up with fresh water as the two taps at the toilet dump are very close together. It is a popular stopover with only 2 spaces available when we arrived. 15 min walk into the lovely square. full of restaurants. The old walled city is beautiful to walk around
Sitecode: 78870
Stayed one night 26/11/22. Beautiful spot with no facilities. Would have stayed a lot longer but we’re heading north. The route directions on here work fine for sat nav. Don’t be put off by the red and white signs at the entrance. Once you go down the gravel road there is a signpost to the area for caravans and mohos to park. Couldn’t be simpler
Sitecode: 52540
Arrived 16/11/22 and stayed several nights. €8.50 a night and €4.50 if you need electricity (we don’t). We love this spot and come back every time. 10 mins walk into Silves. Lots of bars and restaurants. Two supermarkets near and straight into a park for walking the dog. Quiet at night. Flat gravel pitches. 2 SHOWERS, not 1 and 2 washing machines and tumble drier. All facilities are clean and the host is very friendly. Piri piri chicken is great
Sitecode: 40896
Stayed one night 15/11/22. Safe car park with security for €8.05 per night. Quite noisy at night with container trucks loading and driving past. I can see a night club across the road, not open on a Tuesday night, so no noise from that. Very convenient to walk into the centre of in 10 mins. Cadiz looks tired, scruffy and not looked after, so we were not impressed. Lots of graffiti everywhere and rubbish laying around. It is a shame
Sitecode: 73934
Stayed 4 nights from 9/11/22. Despite our initial concerns about Torrox Costa it turns out to be a very nice resort. This Camperstop is great. Pitches come in 2 sizes, €14 or €16 accordingly. Facilities are top notch and clean. Nice shower for €1. As others have said, this aire is very popular so it’s wise to book in advance., even out of season. 10 min bike ride to the centre/promenade, where there are a lot of bars and restaurants to chose from
Sitecode: 103750
Stayed 8/11/22. In the middle of the town and not far from the beach. The town is quite tight to negotiate, but ok. The Aire is overlooked and shaded by many apartments on one side, so would be good in the summer. The facilities are good. Pitches are a bit narrow but ok. The town is a bit lifeless in Nov and dogs are not allowed on the beach, although this gets ignored in the winter months. Nice spot for a stopover
Sitecode: 98168
Stayed 7/11/22. It’s a large well organised Camperstop. It’s like being on a cross between a campsite and Moho car park. The pitches are spacious gravel areas with fresh water on each pitch. The grey waste and Chem toilet dump are big and clean. Camping behaviour is allowed. There are bbq cooking areas and toilets. Hot shower is €1 for 6 min and the cubicles are very large. A nice inexpensive bar and a swimming pool. There is nothing local though
Sitecode: 88480
Sloping gravel terrain with many mohos free camping. Beautiful spot overlooking the sea. No facilities at all, but a great place to chill for a couple of nights or so. Let’s hope everybody takes care of this place so that parking here is allowed for many more years
Sitecode: 47979
Stayed 3/11/22 for two nights. Great aire on a level gravel car park with free fresh water, grey waste and toilet dump. Plenty of space and very quiet. What a lovely village to visit. Walking is up hills quite a bit, but Chinchilla is a lovely old Spanish village well worth visiting. Although the castle isn’t open at the moment, it’s worth looking around from the outside and the troglodytes are interesting. Will definitely be back
Sitecode: 26782
Stayed 2/11/22. Very nice Camperstop on gravel, with pitches where some awnings were out. Now cost €10 per night. Very helpful, friendly owners when you arrive. Aire is very busy so not many spaces when we arrived at 12:00. Has toilets and showers included in the price. Sport stadium behind so some noise and music during the evening. Daimus is very quiet at this time of year. Hardly anything open near the beach. Would definitely use aire though
Sitecode: 48883
Stayed 2. nights from 31/10/22. Very good services and all free. Large aire with many vans, plus vans parked up in the vicinity as well. Arrived at 12:30 and only 3 places available. Very popular. 3x grey waste, toilet dump and fresh water, plus dish washing sinks. Some green space with picnic tables. Across the road is the beach which appears dog friendly at this time of year. 15 walk to marina area where there are a few restaurants still open
Sitecode: 41324
Stayed 27/10/22. A good stopover with all free facilities. There is a lot of tree cover where birds nest at night and our van got covered in bird poo. It took half an hour to wash it off. Apart from that a useful free Aire so no complaints. Not much happening here in October though
Sitecode: 103614
Stayed 26/10/22. Such a friendly welcome from the owner and a free beer also. We were the only Moho on site. All the facilities are good. The pitches are nice grass and it is securely gated at night. The village takes about 15 mins to walk into, where a few bars were open. There’s a really very popular pizzeria, but it was fully booked so we had pizza from the van on the Super U car park. It was very good
Sitecode: 8778
Stayed 25/10/22. Looks like a newly created aire, fenced off from the main car park for 13 Mohos. Very nice pitches on slightly sloping tarmac. The facilities are still in the same place, outside on the main car park, but everything works fine and it is all free
Sitecode: 27131
Stayed 24/10/22. Very nice clean and tidy Aire. All facilities are good. The village is small and sleepy in October, but a great stopover site. Go through the village and up into the woods for a nice dog walk.
Sitecode: 97338
Stayed 23/10/22. Good level stopover on gravel. Not very near to anything. Nice panoramic view of the lake. Restaurant nearby, but not used as not dog friendly. Good for an enroute stopover
Sitecode: 1359
Stayed 1 night 22/10/22. Reasonably level hardstanding and plenty of parking available. Facilities good and yes, it’s a fixed €10 for 24hrs or less. Some noise from the main road but quiet at night. Toilet block open until 20hrs. Very short walk into Kayserberg-Vignoble which is a stunning place to visit. Touristy, but still worth it. We will come back here again
Sitecode: 25432
Stayed 1 night 21/10/22. Slightly sloping tarmac pitches. We think parking is free from 19.00-09:00hrs and 12:00-14:00hrs but got confused and paid €8.50 for 23hrs. No facilities but a great location for visiting the beautiful historic centre of Colmar. The architecture is wonderful. Only ten mins walk to the centre. Quiet at night, but near main roads, so there is traffic noise day and evening. Would definitely visit again
Sitecode: 101409
Stayed 1 night 20/10/22. According to reception in the museum, it is not officially allowed to park over night, but no one will move you on. it is very quiet. The parking is slightly sloped but the use of chocks is not wise. It is comfortable enough. The museum is really worth visiting and good value at €20. We walked into Bastogne in approx 20mins and found a nice dog friendly bar where we also ate. Very good value and Belgium is very friendly
Sitecode: 14095
Stopped 1 night, 19/10/22. It’s a nice clean aire on gravel. 3 slightly sloping pitches, so chocks are necessary. Free facilities, including fresh water. Some noise from the road and a local barking dog, but all quiet at night. St Hubert has a few restaurants and bars but is quite quiet in October. It’s worth a look around the old part of the town and a few beers in the St Hubert Bar. Nice take-away food from the Xi Fin Chinese restaurant
Sitecode: 23905
Here for 3 nights from01/07/22. Big site, but spacious pitches a lot with tree shade. There are plenty of very clean facilities, a little bar/restaurant at reception and free use of the municipal swimming pool. Very convenient for visiting beautiful Amboise as only 10 minutes walk to the centre. The chateau is well worth a visit and there are a lot of shops and restaurants. The Sunday market is very big and is good to visit also. Will visit again
Sitecode: 71034
Stopover 1 night 30/06/22. Very good for a stopover. Nice clean Aire with no facilities for grey or chemical waste. There is a toilet block but don’t know if it’s open all night? As already said the parking is quite sloping. Even with chocks we could not get the van level. Ok to sleep for one night though. Very convenient to visit the fortress and via the free elevator into the charming old town of Chinon. We will visit and use again
Sitecode: 55999
Stayed 3 nights from 27/06. Paid approx €20 per night. It is the only place worth staying to be in easy reach of the centre of La Rochelle. All the facilities work fine. The campervan pitches are fine and fresh water is available on most places. It is quiet at night and in our opinion is well worth the money. Will definitely come back and use it again. I’m slightly worried about giving it a good review because it gets very full quickly
Sitecode: 11752
Stopover on 26/06/22. It’s a good clean, quiet spot to park up for the night for around €8. All the facilities are here and working and it is very convenient to walk into the old town which has some lovely quaint old streets to wander around in. if it hadn’t been a Sunday (everything closed) and hadn’t been raining constantly, we would probably have stayed two nights and spent a day in Pèrigueux. Would happily use the site again
Sitecode: 59511
Stayed 22/06/22 for 1 night. Wish we had more time to stay longer. What a brilliant find thanks to the ACSI and Campercontact apps. Tucked away on the edge of two lakes, one for swimming and one for fishing, this is a lovely quiet location. Nice swimming pool and the facilities are very clean. You get a very warm welcome from the Dutch hostess. Nice grass pitches divided by hedges. Next time we will be coming back for longer. Can’t fault it
Sitecode: 21189
Stayed 1 night 21/06/22. Cost of €8 with no water or electricity, paid at the barrier by card on the way out. Big new Aire with around 35 large pitches on new tarmac. Electric available at some bays. Very quiet in the evening and night. Would happily use again as a stopover enroute. Small pretty village didn’t seem to be much around in the way of bars or restaurants
Sitecode: 92733
21/06/22. Big parking area for coaches and Campervans. Toilet block adjacent. Have to leave by 22:00hrs!!! Couldn’t find the place where you can stay so moved on to Orcines. Well worth a trip up Puy de Dôme on the train for the views alone
Sitecode: 22815
stayed 19/06/22 for two nights. Lovely spot by the Tarn. lovely walks. Beautiful old villages of Ispagnac and Quezac to look around. Campsite has big pitches and a lot of them are very well covered by trees. A nice swimming pool. The facilities are dated but very clean. Staff very friendly. Nice walks in the area. We would definitely come back
Sitecode: 68106
Stayed 15/06/22 for 3 nights. I would give it 3 stars but my wife insisted on 4. Neat pitches all secluded by hedges (not much grass though). Very busy and lots of families. Facilities dated but very clean. Good bread service at reception. Village has a few restaurants but not much else to see. GREAT location to get straight onto beach of Lac de Sainte-Croix where you can swim, paddle board, etc. The best feature of camping here
Sitecode: 48899
Stayed 3 nights from 12/06/22. Very nice little spot by the river Durance. Pitches plenty big enough. Not too busy. Facilities dated but very clean. 20 min walk into the lovely village centre. Few nice places to eat. scenery wonderful. Would happily use again
Sitecode: 58643
Stayed one night 11/06 Not my sort of camping. Hated it in fact. Only giving it 3 stars because all facilities are very clean and each pitch has its own water and grey waste dump. Otherwise it’s just one big estate of wall to wall permanent pitches with huge awnings. Also don’t go at a weekend. Turned out that it’s a German holiday and all the Italians out too. so everywhere was very busy. It looks like all campsites around here are of this style
Sitecode: 60376
stayed 4-9/06/22. paid I advance so approx €20 a night with electric. Very clean facilities. Big site. We were pitched at the river end which is quieter Some of the pitches are big. Others a a bit crammed. If you can get one overlooking the Ardeche river, they look really nice. Easy 30 minute walk to the centre of Vallon which is a nice village with plenty of restaurants. Loads of places to rent canoes. Great fun
Sitecode: 42088
Stayed 9/6/22. OK for a one night stopover. Facilities are a bit dated, but all very clean. Very handy for water sports, plus loads of walking and cycling routes. The village of Embrun is a 0.5hr walk uphill but worth a visit
Sitecode: 43742
Stayed here 02-03/06/22. Lovely quiet campsite on the banks of the river, so we decided to stay two nights and chill. Facilities are clean. Swimming pool looks nice. Beautiful to watch the sun go down behind the hills in the evening. Good saving with a ACSI card, €20 a night for two adults, including electricity. Bit of a walk into the local village, but nothing strenuous. would happily visit again
Sitecode: 70824
02/06/22. Don’t get here late. in the day. We arrived around 17:30 and it was full. No room to squeeze in anywhere. Looks like a beautiful spot, but we had no choice but to move on
Sitecode: 89
02/06/22. If you’re looking for a quick stopover in a pretty village, then I suppose this place is fine, but the parking looks very scruffy, sad and depressing. Looks very quiet and peaceful but didn’t appeal to us so we moved on. No other campers here at around 16:30
Sitecode: 69015
Spent two nights here on 31/05-01/06. €8.10 for 24 hrs if you don’t select water or electricity. Good spacious tarmac pitches, some very slightly sloped. All facilities available at a cost extra cost. A small amount of noise from adjacent children playground during the early evening (not annoying) but otherwise very quiet. Ideal for visiting the walled town of Langres, which is well worth a visit. We would definitely stop here again
Sitecode: 70979
Stayed for 3 nights from 04/12/19. Huge car park and plenty of spots to pitch up. Lovely stopover on the edge of the River Guadiana. Great walks along the river bank and around the castello. The castle is well worth a visit at only €2 a head. Ground is gravel and stone but I’m guessing it could get a bit muddy in places if it rains. Facilities are a bit basic but work. Will come back
Sitecode: 71146
There is nowhere to park!!!
Sitecode: 59782
Beautiful place to park up for the night. Busy during the day with day visitors but very quiet at night. Just the sound of the wind and waves. Sheep roaming everywhere and lovely little beach. Public toilets which appeared to be open 24hrs this time of year. Apart from that no services, not even a bin
Sitecode: 62096
Beautiful quiet wild location. Very exposed at night if the weather is bad (it was). Lots of wind and rain but great scenery great. All parking spots are a bit sloped. Can’t complain at for a free stopover
Sitecode: 73758
Not dog friendly. Grumpy reception. Didn’t stay. Moved onto Anchor Campsite
Sitecode: 70699
06/05/19 - Very friendly reception. 18€ a night. Good head standings for campervans. All facilities needs and all good and very clean. Straight onto a beautiful beach out the back of the site. Definitely good value
Sitecode: 28965
05/05/19 - Great camperstop on the edge of the river in easy distance of the town. All hard standings. Access could be an issue for very big campers. Great pint and atmosphere at Dan Murphy’s Bar where you pay your 10€ to park for the night. Will definitely revisit this one
Sitecode: 64171
05/05/19 - Only parked up during the day for 2€ for 2hrs. Nice flat hard surface. Normal car park with plenty of space. Good walk to Bray head. Would happily use as an overnight spot but planned to be elsewhere
Sitecode: 24863
04/05/19 - Stopped 2 nights to recharge our batteries (not the campers, ours). What a great location. Walk straight onto a shingle beach. Beautiful view across the estuary towards the Ring of Kerry. Nice level car park. Toilets open during the day. Lovely friendly pub (bit expensive) 30 secs walk. Very quiet and nice cycle ride to a beautiful sandy beach at Dooks Strand
Sitecode: 10150
Beautiful picturesque location. 18€ a night plus 1€ for a 7min shower. Very rustic and relaxed site on the edge of the Caha mountains and a good place to explore the Ring of Beara from
Sitecode: 23935
Absolutely beautiful spot. Stopped 2 nights. The best parking is near to the Fort entrance, as it is flatter. Pretty walk into Kinsale which is well worth a visit and a great walk along estuary to the Head takes about 2hrs there and back. Charles Fort is also well worth a visit for 5€. Very beautiful estuary and a quiet spot once the day trippers leave. Will definitely use it again
Sitecode: 23876
29/04/19 - Nice clean spot with all the facilities for 10€ a night. Max stop 2 nights. 10 mins walk into Cobh which is a nice old town and has Titanic history. Good pint of Murphy’s in Kelly’s Irish Bar. Titanic Experience worth a look if you don’t know about it. Jameson Irish Whisky tour in Midleton (about 20 mins away) well worth 22€ and gorgeous whisky tasting as part of it. Cork close as well
Sitecode: 10147
24/04/19 - One night stop over. Good clean site. Facilities are “rustic” but very clean and perfectly good. Small amount of road noise but not bothersome. Good place to walk into Kilkenny from (about 20mins). Castle looks interesting but didn’t go in. Nice little back street in Kilkenny centre and nice walk along the river into town
Sitecode: 49287
24/04/19 - What a beautiful find. Costs 10€ but includes grey waste, fresh water and black waste. Big grass field straight onto the beach and about 10 mins to centre of Ardmore. Beautiful walk around headland and back into town and in opposite direction along rocky coast. Local history interesting. Great for the dog. Friendly owner. Definitely doing a return trip one day
Sitecode: 68699
23/04/19 - Beautiful isolated spot at the top of the pass thru Wicklow Mountains Nat Park. Plenty of space this time of year. 3 campervans along with us. Reasonably flat tarmac and lovely walks directly from car park. No facilities at all but a fantastic spot to spend our first night even tho the weather wasn’t brilliant. Will definitely go back here
Sitecode: 60998
23/04/19 - Good first stop after getting off the ferry at Dublin. 3€ during the hours of 12:00-18:00 otherwise free. Couple of other campervans parked up as well as us. Need to park parallel to the road and not the most level depending upon spot. Greystones is a nice little town. Lots of coffee shops and places to eat. Decided not to stay the night but don’t see any problem if we had No facilities
Sitecode: 14044
Stayed 13/12/18. Plenty of space on tarmac in mixed car park. Good for a stopover but water tap frozen due to weather so didn’t use facilities. Little to do in this village. Found a local bar open for a drink but that’s about it. Some nice old buildings typical of this region
Sitecode: 48918
Stayed 06/12/18. Quite a busy little spot. Dog kennels one side, N340 the other, so not the quietest place. But very good to get straight into centre of Benicàssim and about 20 mins walk to the beach. Good morning market on Thursdays. Facilities just up the road but can’t help feeling the drinking water tap must get used for cleaning the toilet so a bit dubious about refilling
Sitecode: 10741
Visited beginning of Dec18. Agree with everybody else, very expensive but you’re paying for the location, which is minutes away from the historic centre. Córdoba is beautiful and well worth visiting. Sadly we only had one afternoon as we were passing thru. Definitely going back to Córdoba again for a better look
Sitecode: 11420
Quite a nice spot over looking the estuary. We got charged a 0.5€ tourist tax each on top of the 4.5€ parking!!! Not heard of that before but snot expensive for a reasonably good location. Close to the centre and the town is quite nice. Plenty of parking available
Sitecode: 66447
Did 2 nights 11/11/18. It hasn’t got pretty surroundings but it’s literally 3 mins walk to the beach. Go east and you hit the big Praia da Rocha beach which, while very nice, is very commercialised with snack bars and has a backdrop of high rise buildings. BUT, if the tide is out, go west and it’s a beautiful walk along the beach to Praia do Vau. Lovely cliff & and not so touristy. No facilities
Sitecode: 26685
Stayed for several nights from the 13/11/18. Love the relaxed nature of this aire. Quite rustic and very charming. Lots of friendly people and much more rural than a lot of the Algarve. It’s not the tidiest site, a few weeds growing up thru the gravel but that all part of its charm. Great walks to the beach and over the surounding hills. A couple of small bars a a little shop in the village. Love
Sitecode: 21554
Did 2 nights from 09/11/18. Ok, so it’s a bit mucky if wet and dusty when dry but it’s in a great spot for the beach one way and Alvora town centre the other. Lots of bars and restaurants and a bit touristy but we still love Alvora. Beach walks are great in either direction
Sitecode: 15767
Stayed end of Oct18. Nice clean site straight onto the dunes then beach. Space for a lot of campers and only one water/waste point but we had no issues. Good value at 4.5€ a night (without ehu). Manta Rota not very busy this time of year but if you want beach walks and quiet, it’s good. Couple of bars, snack bars and supermarket in easy walking distance Good butcher, but a bit expensive
Sitecode: 52540
Stayed 02/11/18 for a few days. We have a 6.4m van conversion. Really like this site, and Silves. Good value at 6€ (without EHU). Both owners are really friendly and helpful, particularly the morning guy. Not loads of space but there’s enough to get the awning out and it’s fine to sit and cook outside. Nice shower for 50 cents. Easy walk into Silves. Do the castle and piri piri chicken
Sitecode: 10754
Stopped over around 20/10/18. Normal car park where it looks like Motorhomes are tolerated. Quite busy with cars parked during the day and can be difficult to find a spot such that you’re not sticking out too far, and no facilities (although there is a drinking water tap in the kiddies playground which is useful for a top-up). That said, it’s a great location for walking straight into Salamanca
Sitecode: 52437
12€ a night is not cheap but parking feels very safe. Facilities are good but because there is a hosepipe on the portable water, you do wonder if some people use it for cleaning their cassette toilet!!! Brilliant location to visit all the must see Roman monuments and we really loved Merida itself
Sitecode: 45870
Stayed 23/10/18. Nice clean site next to a welcomed groomed park by the river. Although we didn’t use it ourselves, there is a cafe in the park very close by. Also next to the bridge that takes you straight into the centre (about 15 min walk). Some noise late evening from the park and road but didn’t disturb us and dies away by midnight. The Alcazaba is well worth a visit
Sitecode: 21807
Visited 21/10/18. What a find. Beautiful place. It appears this time of year it is tolerated to park up just by the lake, which is exactly what we did. Facilities are clean enough. There are even public toilets which are clean. Beautiful quiet spot and great walks around the lakes
Sitecode: 14723
Great stopover. No facilities but very good for walking down into the medieval town through the sanctuary. And if you don’t fancy the walk back up, you can take the lift up at a cost. Plenty of eating places in old town but lift closes early and path shuts at 8pm so be careful. We walked from the aire down the road for 15 mins to the upper town where you have a couple of choices of restaurants
Sitecode: 57315
Very clean and tidy. About 15 min walk into the centre so very convenient for walking into Pamplona which is well worth a visit. We would have stayed longer but you are limited to a max of 48hrs with no return for a week which is a shame. Highly recommended
Sitecode: 6100
Only stopped over one night and then moved on, so can’t rate Palencia itself. Went out for tapas and very convenient for walking into the centre. Nice big parking spaces but facilities are very tight. Our van conversation was fine but bigger vans may struggle. Facilities look a bit dated but function fine
Sitecode: 63526
Nice flat tarmac parking in a quiet village. The facilities look clean and tidy. Good stopover point on the way south

Update to previous feedback. A local said it’s ok to stop in the parking bays that used to be for camping cars. However, they are not suitable for large campers as they are a standard car parking space width and length. Old service point for grey waste and toilet still there and free water supply still works. Can’t give it a high rating but there’s a nice market in Excideuil on a Thursday morning

Lovely quiet place. Nice solid earth ground. The owner came home from work to greet us, shake hands and then went back to work. We were offered electric but didn't need it. Owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We brought some beautifully fresh eggs from him as well
