Great location for Catbells and The Newlands valley. Free to park without electric hook up or £5.00 with electric, 2 available spaces with a maximum stay of two nights, you are expected to dine in the pub which was fine great pub food and decent beer, be aware of narrow access roads with passing places from portinscale or braithwaite both single track but only last about 1.5 miles.

An absolutely beauty! Breathtaking views from your van, friendly pub with greet food with many varied walks right on the doorstep. Free without hook up or £5 a night with electric & you can stay for up to two nights. We stayed for two & ate at the pub both nights, walking to the Cat Bells one day & Keswick the next. Pub is also dog friendly which is a bonus!
